About Us
On this page we will describe our background and racing philosophy.
Colorado Slot Car Club was founded in Nov 2007 with the intent of bringing together like-minded individuals,
to foster a sense of camaraderie and a healthy, fun, competitive atmosphere. We mainly run 1/32 scale slot cars along with
1/24 as well. We run RTR cars from mildly modified to full blown mods and we do have a class for alternate chassis materials
(brass, HRS, etc). Never fear, we will show you and teach you how to tune and run a mag free car and how to be competitive
on all levels. We race twice a month on Saturdays, generally two classes along with a support race. We run road races (sprints
and enduros) and drag racing (scale 1/8th and 1/4 mile [1/32 and 1/24]). We run on routed wood tracks and painted plastic
tracks. We have outdoor racing (rally/RAID) with BBQs in the summer with awards given out as we see fit We also offer test
and tune sessions on both wood and plastic tracks so essentially nobody goes to a track blind.

Our History
Our Club and its original founding members go back 4-6 years, our vast experence on tuning and running smooth balanced
races comes from this.
